Crowland: SATURDAY Strollers will be walking this Saturday from Baston, a distance of approximately four miles.

Meet at the former St Guthlac School at 10.25am to arrange transport for those that need it. Bring a picnic lunch and wear clothes and shoes suited to the weather conditions on the day.

CROWLAND Cares barbecue is on Sunday, August 12. Tickets £6.50 and there is a limited number. For further information contact Crowland Cares at the library or telephone 01733 211797.


GOSBERTON Youth Club is having a table top sale on Sunday, 2-5pm. To book a place ring Carolyn Gallagher on 01775 841296 or Hugh Bettles on 07710 159977. Cost of a table is £4 if pre booked or £5 on the day. There will be a bric-a-brac stall and home made cakes, tea and coffee.

GOSBERTON Bank House home has started various clubs within the home. They have a baking club meeting on a Monday when they make various cakes etc. A sing-along with music and exercise each week, massage and nail manicures and flower arranging. The home is now planning an auction for August.


METHODIST Church has a pot luck evening on Saturday, 7.30pm, featuring organist Sam White. Admission £4.50.


ON Saturday there is a Pop-In lunch at the church hall from noon to 1.15pm. Cost £3.50 for a summer menu. All welcome.

THE nearly new sale raised about £350, thanks to everyone who made the day a success.
