Lincolnshire County Council is reminding concessionary bus pass holders to check the expiry date on their bus pass as many of them are due to run out at the end of March.
More than 50,000 cards have been replaced already, but at least 50,000 more people still need to apply.
There are several ways to apply. To receive an application form you can:
l Download it from www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/concessionaryfares
l Collect it in person from Lincolnshire County Council, City Hall, Beaumont Fee, Lincoln, LN1 1DN, from your local Council Offices, or your local library.
l Call the Concessionary Fares Team on 01522 873700.
Anita Ruffle, transport manager for the county council, said: “We have renewed 50,000 bus passes in the last few months but we know there are another 50,000 people who haven’t re-applied for theirs yet.
“The majority of thesewill expire in March, so it’s important that people check them and re-apply if necessary.”
