If you have ever wondered how ordinary people lived in past times go to Threekingham Living History Day on Saturday (from 10am).
Learn how the Anglo-Saxons made butter and trained their men at arms. Join in with their recruiting drill and watch a medieval blacksmith at work – learn how he supported travelling armies during the Wars of the Roses.
Living History Groups, who will also teach medieval dance, kit you out with armour and prepare medieval feasts, are competing for the Best Living History Group of the year title so cast your vote.
Entry is £5 per adult, accompanied children free (no unaccompanied children). Proceeds to the local church.
