Bodies found at home in Winsover Road, Spalding: Councillor says 'this is a sad moment for the community'




South Holland District Councillor for the Spalding St John's ward, Manzur Hasan, has spoken out after hearing news this morning of an incident in Winsover Road.

Police have launched an investigation after two bodies, those of a man and a woman both in their 30s, were found at a property in the street earlier today (Thursday, June 25).

Coun Hasan, whose ward covers the Winsover Road area, said: "This is really a sad moment for our community and my sincere condolences to the family of those who died.

"There is still lot of information that we are waiting to hear about the incident."

Police say that a 29-year old man and a 46-year-old man have been arrested and taken into police custody. They were also found at the property.
