Dad's Army's John Le Mesurier brought back to life

Alistair McGowan's Big Impression impersonator Julian Dutton portrays Dad's Army legend John Le Mesurier in solo stage show in Spalding.

Actor, mimic and writer Julian brings his one-man show Do You Think That's Wise? : The Life and Times of John Le Mesurier to the South Holland Centre on February 15 after a sell-out run at Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

"Above all, it's an affectionate tribute to one of Britain's best-loved comedy stars, but I also try to reveal the man behind the wry smile and urbane repartee that charmed millions and turned John Le Mesurier into a household name as Sergeant Wilson in Dad's Army," says Julian.

Do You Think That's Wise? : The Life and Times of John Le Mesurier is held at South Holland Centre at 7.30pm on February 15. Tickets are available at southhollandcentre.co.uk
