Celebrating the '80s at this year's Holbeach Beer and Music Festival with the Wild Boys
If you love '80s music, you are in for a treat at this year's Holbeach Beer and Music Festival in August.
Top '80s function band the Wild Boys (also the name of a Duran Duran hit), are back at the festival once again and will headline on the Friday night.
Who can't forget tracks like 'Club Tropicana' by Wham! or 'Don't you Want Me' by The Human League, not to mention Kenny Logins' 'Footloose' or 'Rio' by Duran Duran?
Those are just some of the hits that the band could perform in their set.
The Holbeach Beer and Music Festival is on from August 2-4 at the town's Kings Field, (on Fen Road with Raven's Gate).
Event organiser, Sean Taylor, said: "The Wild Boys are widely regarded as the best live '80s function band in the UK today.
"Having formed in the summer of 2009 the Wild Boys have set very high standards with their vast performing experience and exciting shows, covering all the great artists from the best decade in music - the 80s!"
The Wild Boys performed in front of a sell out crowd of 3,000 fans at the 2017 Holbeach Beer and Music Festival and they're sure to get the crowd going once again.
Sean added: "The guitarist in the band, Steve Slator, is a well known and respected professional performer in the industry. As a Holbeach resident he is really excited and proud to be performing at this year’s festival.
"Wild Boys will headline the festival on Friday, August 2, performing on stage for ‘80’ mins (9.40pm-11pm).
"They always deliver a fantastic show with the best '80s songs guaranteed, to get you all singing and dancing until the end."
Also headlining at this year's festival is '90s tribute band Revival, Zeb Rootz. Take That tribute Rule the World, The Jam'd, The Houndogs and Pink tribute Vicky Jackson.
The theme of the event this year is '80s and '90s.
Sean added: "You can purchase a single day pass or weekend pass; and this year you can purchase a single day camping pass, or hopefully you will stay and enjoy the full experience by camping for the weekend."
