SOUTH Holland councillors are to give £15 of their budgets to boosting a fund used to welcome home local people serving in the Territorial Army.

Councillors are given a budget of £5,000 for special awards to the community.

Coun Gary Porter said: “It’s not a lot but it is a way for taxpayers to say thank you to them for the work they do.”
