Spalding to host Zenfest this month
People can experience all things 'Zen' at a special event in Spalding this month.
The team at Spalding Holistic Hub in Broad Street, are hosting 'Zenfest' on Saturday, September 21, from 10am until 3pm.
Throughout the day, people will be able to find out more about the well-being services run at the centre, next to The Constitutional Club, including yoga, pregnancy yoga, meditation, women's moon circles, baby massage and more.
The centre is also the base for The Village Midwives.
Hatha and Yin yoga teacher Alison Smith has organised the event along with Keira Williamson. Keira teaches pregnancy and postnatal yoga and hypnobirthing.
Alison said: "The idea behind the event is to raise the profile of The Hub. It'll give people the chance to meet us and we are also looking to raise money for The Hub so we can bring in some plants and more equipment such as more bolsters etc."
They also plan to offer new yoga for children called 'GroovyKids' from October.
At the Zenfest event there will be the opportunity to make purchases from stall holders, engage with talks and join in with some collective guided meditations, relaxation and yoga.
Among some of the things on offer is Craniosacral Therapy, crystals, yoga, meditation, clothing, candles and aromatherapy, Tarot readings, massage, Reiki, mother and baby wellness, women's health, Groove Revive,Laughter Yoga,Indian Head Massage andSound Therapy.
Tickets for the event cost £5 and can be purchased from The Hub at classes or by calling Alison on 07761 038240 or Keira on 07415 374095.
