GUINNESS World Records has confirmed The Rotary Global Swimathon on February 25 has made it into the Guinness Book of Records.

The event took place at over 64 locations across the world and involved 4,546 swimmers doing at least 100m within an hour.

Some 109 swimmers completed the required four lengths of the Spalding swimming pool in Spalding raising £718. Participants who would like a Guinness World Record certificate can contact David Walters at xvbnmdjwalt@tiscali.co.uk.
