Moulton superheroes and fairies raise £500 for Comic Relief

A group of superheroes and fairies have stormed a village’s streets for a good cause.

The young heroes and heroines from Debbie’s Childcare, all aged between one and four, embarked on a mile long walk around Moulton to raise funds for Comic Relief.

Braving the rain, the ten youngsters, along with Debbie Craft, her daughter Chloe Marie Wright and her assistant Kim Taylor, began their walk, donning their special costumes.

Debbie said: “This year, the Comic Relief theme for young children is superheroes. We had all different superheroes, including Spider Man and Iron Man, as well as some fairies.

“All of the children wore their masks which we had made and they were happy to wear them – they loved it. It started to rain the minute we left but their little legs managed to do it.”

After donations from residents, family and friends, the group has raised around £500.
