The Spalding High School Young Enterprise team returned with trophies from a recent competition
It was the county final of the Young Enterprise competition, and teams of sixth form business groups from schools around the county presented their designs and business plans.
The school’s Magbag team were thrilled to win trophies for Innovation and even more so for the Environmental trophy as the premise behind their company was to re-use and saving the environment.
Headmistress Michele Anderson said: “This is an amazing achievement for the High School Young Enterprise team and we are very proud of them. The Magbag design is innovative and sustainable and the team has received a great response, as demonstrated not just by their success at the awards, but also by the size of their order books.”
Although the competition may be over, Magbag will still exist as a company as the core members plan to continue to create the crafts they have designed and learned to love.
