The penultimate lecture in Spalding Gentlemen’s Society’s programme of talks takes place on Friday.

Mike Parker Pearson, Professor of British Later Prehistory at University College London, is presenting Stonehenge: New Discoveries.

Stonehenge is one of the greatest mysteries of world prehistory but it is now beginning to give up some of its secrets.

Since 2003, the Stonehenge Riverside Project, led by Mike Parker Pearson, has produced a wealth of new information about this mysterious stone circle and the people who built it. The results are providing major insights into questions surrounding Stonehenge.

The lecture is at Spalding Grammar School at 8pm. Entry is £2 per person and refreshments are available.
