Moulton Garden Crawl and Scarecrow Weekend was fantastic
Paddington Bear, Boris Johnson and even the Queen were on display at a much-loved village event.
Moulton’s Garden Crawl and Scarecrow Weekend was a sight to behold as visitors flocked to the village.
With 45 scarecrow displays to see and 25 gardens open to explore, plus refreshments and stalls in the village hall, the two-day event provided plenty of fun.
Jim Scarsbrook, chairman of Moulton Community Association (MCA), said: “It really was a fantastic weekend and we had a really good turnout.
“It was so good to see so many people in the village.
While the main reason for the event is to raise money for the MCA, to me it is just as important that we have an event in Moulton which brings lots of people to the village.
“We had a fantastic response from garden owners, with more gardens open than ever before.
“We owe a lot to the people who opened their gardens and built the scarecrows, along with a lot of volunteers who put in a lot of very hard work for the event.”
