There are still some tickets remaining for the popular Two Lips charity quiz night, which this year will be held next Wednesday, July 13.

As in previous years the quiz will be held at St Norbert’s Church Hall in St Thomas’ Road, Spalding.

Tickets are, once again, £8 per person and include a meal of baked potato with a choice of filling.

Teams can be a minimum of four and maximum of eight people.

There will be prizes for the winners, plus a raffle on the night.

The quiz, which is 6.30pm for a 7pm start, is once again supporting the Rotary Club of Spalding and Welland’s Two Lips Appeal.

The annual appeal is this year supporting the Air Ambulance, Johnson Hospital League of Friends, LIVES and other local Rotary charities.

There is a licensed bar and the evening should be over by around 10pm.

Spalding Guardian and Lincolnshire Free Press editor Jeremy Ransome said: “We are delighted to be once again working with the Rotary Club of Spalding and Welland with the ever-popular quiz evening. This annual event is always a fun night for all involved.”

Melvyn Price, president of the Rotary Club, said: “I would like to thank St Norbert’s Church Hall for all their help in making this a regular and successful event in the club’s fundraising calendar.”

Tickets are available from J F Inkley, The Crescent, Spalding, who have kindly agreed to provide an outlet for quiz tickets.
