Bakkavor Spalding’s staff shop committee is once again treating staff and their families to a night out at the panto.
Every year the shop books the South Holland Centre pantomime for two nights so that employees have the opportunity to see the production with their families.
This year the Committee has given out over 680 tickets to staff to see Cinderella.
The committee has also donated 150 tickets to Gosberton House School, its chosen local cause for 2014.
This follows a successful summer Party in the Park musical event which the staff shop committee hosted for employees and the local community which raised £10,000 for Gosberton House School.
Terry Moore, chairman of Bakkavor Spalding’s Staff Shop Committee, said: “As our employees play a vital role in making the business a success this is just one of the ways to reward them for their commitment and hard work.
“All of the proceeds raised from the shop go to employee events, local charitable initiatives and good causes. By the end of the year we will have donated over £70,000.”
This week actors from the panto visited Gosberton House – a specialist primary school mainly for children with an autistic spectrum disorder – to hand out tickets to the pantomime.
