A SPORTY Langtoft pupil has won a mountain bike in a competition to promote the benefits of drinking milk.
Cool Milk launched a prize draw at the East of England Show as part of their Kid’s Kitchen. Children had to vote for their favourite reason to drink school milk and the winner was 11-year-old Max Ringrose.
The Langtoft Primary School pupil said he liked to drink it because it gives him the energy to play sport.
He won a mountain bike from Richardson’s Cycles in Stamford.
Max told the Free Press: “I couldn’t believe that I won.
“I was really happy that I got my new bike in the summer holidays so that I could play on it with my friends.
“I enjoy drinking milk as it is healthy and fills me up until lunch.”
Cool Milk supplies milk to schools and nurseries and promotes the health and social benefits of drinking milk at school.
