Spalding based spooktacular event set to thrill this year
A ghoulishly good event, which promises to be even scarier than 2020, is coming to Spalding.
The Sessions House of Horrors is set to put thrill seekers through their paces in the lead up to Halloween.
The immersive experience will take place in the historic grounds of the former Court House situated in the centre of the town.
Oliver Sneath, who owns the Sessions House with his wife Dorota, is very excited about the plans.
He said: “We are hoping that it will be one of the biggest events we’ve ever done and I think a lot of people want to do it.
“The building is a wedding venue, so there’s always been a big focus on that but I think this is something that could just be so different.
“We are in a central location in Spalding so people who may have wanted to do a similar event elsewhere but haven’t been able to will find it more convenient.
“These immersive experiences have become more and more popular around the UK and I’ve been to a few so I know what we can work off.
“I am really looking forward to doing the event...my wife isn’t as excited as she’s not a horror fan.”
The event will run from Monday, October 26 to Halloween on Saturday, October 31 from 7pm to 11pm each night and tickets will be required for the event which will have COVID-19 safety measures in place.
Oliver said: “With the COVID situation I have been a little bit nervous, but come October I think people will be ready to do something different.
“We can maintain social distancing and we will have all of the measures in place too.”
“I’m really going to enjoy doing it and I just can’t wait for the thrill and anticipation. There will definitely be lots of screaming and jumping!”
