Youngsters and staff at Sutton St James Primary School presented Jane Spriggs with a beautiful bouquet of flowers after she arranged funding for them to enjoy days out to the National Science Museum in London and the Green Schools Revolution Education Centre, near March.
Mrs Spriggs approached a number of organisations to gather the money, including the Watson Charity (Sutton St James), Poor’s Charity (Sutton St Edmund) and Holbeach district councillors.
Youngsters from Years 2 to 6 visited the science museum to round off a week of activities for Science Week.
As well as the museum, children also took in Buckingham Palace and Big Ben.
The trip to the education centre was organised for youngsters in Foundation and Year 1.
