These are just some of the Spalding High School pupils keen to find out about changes to the sixth form in 2000.

An open evening and morning were held to explain the changes to the sixth form syllabus. Head of sixth form Jacqui Cushing said students needed to understand fundamental changes introduced by the government which would see AS grade and basic skills examinations taken at the end of the lower sixth.

Passing these would allow students to return to sit A2 exams at the end of the upper sixth.
