Spalding shop faces licence review over 'smuggled goods'
A Spalding shop is to have its licence reviewed after allegations by police that smuggled goods are being kept there.
The 7 Day Euro Shop, in Westlode Street, has until September 13 to make its case to South Holland District Council as to why it should keep its premises licence.
A notice from the district council said: “Lincolnshire Police has obtained evidence which indicates that the premises have been operating in a manner to undermine the licensing objectives and to intentionally commit criminal acts by keeping smuggled goods on the premises.”
