The Rotary Club of Spalding and Welland held their big annual quiz night to raise money for their ‘Two Lips’ appeal.
The charities the club appeal is supporting are the life saving emergency charity LIVES and Johnson Community Hospital League of Friends.
The quiz raised £450 for these causes and a charity ball in May raised a fantastic £4,000.
The club is part of an organisation that not only helps people locally, but worldwide.
President of the Rotary Club, Peter Atkinson, said: “The £450 raised from the quiz night will go straight into the funds for the charities and a cheque will be presented next month.”
It was £8 per ticket and around 60 people attended the evening to test their general knowledge in their teams.
The winners of the quiz was a team from the Lincolnshire Free Press and Spalding Guardian. A raffle also gave guests the opportunity to win various prizes.
An evening meal of jacket potatoes and fillings was provided by the Rugby Club.
