Some roads in Spalding will be closed to traffic over the next four weeks while essential works are carried out.
Drainage repairs are planned for Low Road between Monday, July 20 and Wednesday 22 and repairs to the footpath and carriageway at Halmergate will take place from Thursday, July 23 to August 12. Carriageway patching will take place at Low Road on July 28.
A council spokesman said all the works are essential to prevent any deterioration in the roads and have been scheduled to take place during school holidays to minimise disruption to the travelling public.
The roads will be closed to through traffic and diversion routes will be in place and signed accordingly. Both Low Road and Halmergate will be closed on Tuesday, July 28 and diversion routes will be altered temporarily to reflect this. Access arrangements for residents will be in place.
Local bus companies have been informed and there will be minor changes to their service routes for the duration of the works.
