Spalding man denies headstones fraud




A Spalding man accused of defrauding customers by failing to supply memorial headstones today (Friday) denied nine charges when he appeared at Lincoln Crown Court.

Julian Karl Gaunt pleaded not guilty to eight charges of fraud relating to the supply and erection of memorial head stones on dates between October 20, 2015 and July 22, 2016.

Gaunt, who represented himself at today's hearing, denied a further charge of theft of a memorial headstone between July 1 and December 31, 2016.
