South Holland vaccine roll out rumoured to be just a week away

It is rumoured that the roll out of the coronavirus vaccine in South Holland could begin as soon as next week.

South Holland District Council leader Coun Gary Porter has posted a tweet to suggest that a "unconfirmed but trusted source" has said the roll out will begin on Saturday, January 16.

The tweet reads: "Unconfirmed (but trusted source) says the vaccine roll out will start at Springfield’s on Saturday 16th of January, although no idea of the number of doses."

Within his tweet, Coun Porter also asked for NHS England to publish a plan.

The tweet continued: "Also our GPs are geared up to roll out locally, but again no idea of doses. @NHSEngland just publish what the plan is please."

Coun Porter's tweet comes after he said earlier this week that he was worried that the plan to deliver sites for the coronavirus vaccination could be a ‘Baldrick’ one.
