Remembrance Services will be held throughout South Holland this Sunday as members of the public get together to remember and honour those who have sacrificed themselves to secure and protect our freedom.
The service in Spalding will take place at Ayscoughfee Gardens, assembling in Spalding Market Place at 10.15amfor a 10.30am parade.
The service will take place at 10.45am with a march back to the Market Place at 11.30am.
In Holbeach, the parade assembles at 1.55pm at South Holland Boxing Academy, leaving for the war memorial at 2.05pm, with a remembrance service at All Saints’ Church at 2.30pm.
At Long Sutton’s St Mary’s Church there will be the Last Post as part of the 10.30am parish service, with a civic service and parade from the war memorial to the church at 2pm.

St Peter and St Paul Church, service 6.30pm.
A service will be held at the parish church at 10.30am.
Wreath laying at 2pm at the war memorial, followed by a service at the Baptist Church at 2.30pm.
Gedney Drove End
A service will be held at Christ Church, Dawsmere, at 10am and will be conducted by Dr Peter Gorton.
The local branch of the Royal British Legion will parade the standard and will muster at the junction of Church Street and Dawsmere Bank at 9.30am.
There will be a wreath laying ceremony at the war memorial at 11am and Gedney Drove End Royal British Legion will be there from 11.30am. Afterwards, refreshments will be available in Gedney Dyke Village Hall. Everyone is welcome.
A service will be held in St John the Baptist Church, Whaplode Drove, on Sunday at 10.55am.
This will be followed by the laying of poppy wreaths at Whaplode Drove war memorial, Gedney Hill Holy Trinity Church and Gedney Hill Memorial Hall.
Services take place in Gosberton Risegate and Gosberton on Sunday.
A service will be at the Risegate war memorial at 2pm, followed by a further service at the Gosberton memorial at 2.30pm. A service in St Peter and St Paul’s Church will take place at 3pm. There will also be a service of remembrance at the war memorial on Wednesday, November 11, at 10.45am.
Holbeach St Marks
A service will be held at the war memorial at 3pm. Tea, coffee and cake will be served after the service in the church.
