A South Holland band enjoyed a high profile debut gig when they supported indie rock trio Little Comets.

The Tenters, made up of lead singer Will Munton and band-mates Rob Lester, Kane Brownlie and Will Olley, travelled to Peterborough for their performance.

Front-man Will was delighted with the reception they got.

“We really enjoyed ourselves,” he said.

“We’re so used to playing songs with just the four of us in a room, so when you get into the venue you can notice little things and reflect on them to be better next time.

“They’re quite a well established band, so they don’t just have a pool of local people turning up to a gig, which was nice.

“Sometimes with bands like that there’s a worry that they might not be the nicest of people, but they were absolutely lovely.

“As soon as we got off stage their sound technician came up to us and couldn’t believe how tight we were as a band.

“He said he certainly couldn’t tell it was our first gig and that we sounded really good.”
