Snowdrops are a reminder that spring is on its way – and now is the perfect time to see them.
Thousands of snowdrops can be seen in their natural setting in a secluded area of the churchyard at St Mary’s Church at Whaplode this weekend.
Walks are being organised from 11.30am to 3.30pm both days – and you may also see some beautiful aconites.
There will be refreshments available in the Heraldic Suite for visitors, who may like to be guided around the inside of this magnificent church and learn about its 900-year history.
Snowdrop walks are also being organised for Saturday and Sunday, February 21 and 22 and Saturday, February 28 and Sunday, March 1.
