Saturday’s bad weather meant many regular supporters of Tracey Thomas’s fairs gave the one at Holbeach St Marks Village Hall the big freeze.
However, she says while there weren’t lots of people there those who did make it through the snow enjoyed a good selection of craft and gift items. It was dissatisfaction with the level of organisation of fairs Tracey attended as a jewellery maker that led to her organising fairs herself. She said: “We like to use the little villages to give something back. They have all got nice halls that aren’t being used enough.”
The fairs also give charities, such as Spalding Guide Dogs for the Blind (above) the chance to raise funds. Photo: SG310115-113TW
