Football teams from Holbeach’s University Academy are now better placed to outsmart the opposition.
The school has attracted three sponsors to help fund kits for the youngsters. It has been about eight years since the teams had new kit and the move to its University Academy status was the spur to change. Sport teacher Mark Jesson set about finding sponsors, encouraging young players and others whose families might help with funding. He said: “They look extremely smart and it is important they look smart when they are playing other schools, home and away.” Backing the Holbeach University Academy teams are Malc Firth Landcapes, Year 7, D Brown Building Contractors, Years 8/9 and Premier Logistics Personnel, Year 10.
