Sinkhole leads to emergency closure of Middlegate Road West in Frampton, Boston - near Kirton

A sinkhole has led to an emergency road closure near the A16.

Middlegate Road West in Frampton, Boston - near Kirton - has been shut due to the issue.

The route between London Road and the A16 is being investigated by Lincolnshire County Council emergency crews, who are on site investigating reports.

The road will remain closed whilst those investigations take place. Residents on Middlegate Road West will be able to access it in the meantime.

After the cause of the issue is determined, a works programme will be decided upon. The county council says it will issue details on this as soon as possible.
