Much Ado About Nothing is being performed, hopefully outdoors, at Crowland Abbey on Thursday (7.30pm).
Mask Theatre is giving the performance, setting Shakespeare’s play in modern times in a London speakeasy.
Don Pedro, head of a London gang, his half-brother Don John, and the men return from their ‘war’. Now the fighting is over, their thoughts turn to the ladies they have come back to...
This will be Mask Theatre’s third year at Crowland Abbey, and the previous performances were said to be a real treat.
If it’s a nice night take a picnic and chairs, though it will move into the Abbey it it’s raining.
Tickets are £7.50 on the door.
