Sent to crown court for sentence for having lock knife at Spalding pub
Boston magistrates sent a 22-year-old man to the crown court for sentence after he had a lock knife at a Spalding pub.
Ben Heffernan, of Wide Bargate, Boston, admitted possessing the lock knife when he appeared before the magistrates and also to breaching a suspended seven months prison sentence order imposed at Grimsby Crown Court for affray in 2017.
Prosecuting, Jim Clare said that on July 7, police were told a man had been seen with a knife in his back pocket at the Punchbowl in New Road, Spalding.
