Self-protection workshop

Have your say

A FORMER bodyguard to Princess Diana will be giving a lesson in self protection when he visits Pinchbeck later this month.

Kick boxing champion Lee Sansum, who trains military elite forces, will be teaching simple methods of dealing with dangerous situations.

His clients have included Jean-Claude Van Damme, Sylvester Stallone, Mohammed Al Fayed and the Royal Family.

The workshop has been set up through Kevin Bennetto, chief instructor at Lincolnshire Martial Arts.

Kevin said: “We’re really excited about having Lee down. He’s an absolute legend in the world of martial arts, as well as personal security.

“I think everyone will benefit from Lee’s visit, whether you’re a high grade instructor, a student progressing through the belt system, if you belong to a boxing club or if you have never trained in your life.”

The workshop is suitable for teenagers upwards and will be held at Pinchbeck East Primary School from 6-8pm on September 21. Tickets cost £25 each and are available from Kevin on 01775 721941.
