Spalding Western Relief Road: Now it's a Government review

Campaigners opposed to Spalding Western Relief Road (SWRR) have welcomed a pledge by Secretary of State Robert Jenrick to order a review.

Mr Jenrick will ask his officials to work with the council and Homes England to see "how we can move forward in a way which delivers housing but doesn't impact the town so adversely".

Bourne Road residents Tracy Holland and Catherine and Frank Roberts met Mr Jenrick in Spalding on Tuesday, along with Heather Violett, from Spalding Pinchbeck Against the Relief Road (SPARR).
