Spalding High School worked swiftly after being notified of positive coronavirus test

A Spalding school acted swiftly after being notified of a student testing positive for coronavirus.
Spalding High School undertook a deep clean of a section of the Stone Gate site and also notified contacts of the affected pupil after being notified yesterday (Sunday).
The school remains open as usual and Public Health England were informed.
Head teacher Michele Anderson said: "We were notified of a confirmed positive test on Sunday afternoon and the school worked swiftly to identify and notify contacts.
"The year group zone was deep cleaned overnight and the school fully functioning on Monday.
"We have worked closely with the Local Authority and Public Health teams and are following advice.
