Spalding students and staff make music during lockdown




Spalding High School students and staff have come up with at least 200 songs to ease any lockdown blues, it has been confirmed.

Between March 23 and June 15, when only children of key workers and those considered vulnerable were allowed to attend the school, students were asked to choose their favourite songs to make up an online playlist.

Richard Garbett, the school's head of music who came up with the "Song of the Day" idea, said: "So far I've had at least 200 song requests from every year in the school, plus staff.
