Spalding school's breakfast club is awarded £1,000 donation from Kellogg's
A school breakfast club has been boosted by a £1,000 donation.
The Garth School, in Spalding, has received the donation from Kellogg's, which is celebrating 20 years of supporting breakfast clubs.
Head teacher Claire Moore said: “We are so grateful to receive this generous donation. Thanks to the support from Kellogg’s, we can now improve our Breakfast Club services for our pupils.”
Kellogg’s has supported over 3,000 school breakfast clubs with funds, food and training over the last 20 years.
Breakfast clubs help with everything from attendance and attainment.
Kate Prince, Corporate Social Responsibility manager, at Kellogg’s, said: “We’re proud to have spent 20 years supporting so many schools across the UK. We believe all children should have the opportunity to start the day with breakfast.”
