Tydd St Mary pupils organise their own Christingle

Pupils from Tydd St Mary Primary School put on their own Christingle service.

As their is currently no vicar in the parish, the school's Collective Worship Council, made up of 10 children from Years 2 to 6, organised and conducted the service.

Visiting clergy member Rev Gareth joined Duncan the Donkey in explaining the meaning behind the Christingle, and, when the Christingles were lit and the lights turned off, the children sang ‘Away in a Manger’.
