Spalding school honours its achievers

St Paul’s Community Primary School in Spalding honoured its star achievers at a special end of term assembly.

Children were recognised for things like attendance as well as prowess in the pool with certificates for swimming 5m, 10m and 25m.

There was also a host of special awards and pupil Ellie-Mai Dolby collected three of those, the Lions Walk Tall Award, the Savill Resilience Cup and Contribution to School Life.

Parents gathered in the school hall to join governors, staff and pupils.

Chair of governors Caroline Glass said it was both a celebration of achievements and also an emotional time as the school said goodbye to its Year 6 pupils, who will have many opportunities ahead when they start secondary school.

Among those recognised for their achievements were Jodie Watson, Charlie Carr, Oliver Denmead, Sophie Sroczynksa, Keaton Moore, Saulius Kersys, Tahmina Ferdousi, Amber Ward, Harvey Farrar and Danny Brassett.
