A number of other activities were also held at the school which included a quiz,a kindness challenge, practising mindful techniques.

A spokesman said: "At a time when it is needed most, we hoped that the students would unite to support #HelloYellow and show solidarity to young people.

"Our aims were to raise lots of money for a fantastic cause but also raise awareness of mental health issues amongst young people, in addition to signposting them to further support if they need it.

"We hoped that this would also show students that they are not alone and that there is nothing wrong with asking for help."
