Scarecrows adorned shop windows and people’s gardens as part of Donington’s summer fayre.
A number of creative designs were on display, including a burglar climbing down from a window and a Snow White with her seven dwarfs.
There were also stalls, games, animals and plants in Flinders Park, as well as a performance by Holbeach Town Band.
South Holland District Coun for Donington Jane King said the event, which is organised by Improving Donington Environment for All (IDEA), was ‘brilliant’.
“It was packed, we were so lucky with the weather and everyone worked really hard.”
The event also included a fly-past by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
Money raised from the event goes back into the park.
