Various groups and good causes are still filled with festive cheer after sharing in the proceeds of Santa’s sleigh run by the Rotary Club of South Holland.
The big fella and his helpers took to his sleigh to tour the streets of Spalding and sit outside local supermarkets during December. Debbie Hough, spokesman for the club, said: “As usual the event went really well and we had lots of positive feedback from the public. “The amazing total collected will be used to support many good causes and we were able to give donations totalling £3,000.” Representatives of some of the groups to receive donations are pictured above. They included South Lincs Competitive Swimming Club, Air Training Cadets, Crazy Fliers, Broad Street Church, Hope and Homes, Splaidng Gym Club, Welland Centenary Rotary Club and Young Farmer.
