RUBBISH: Council can’t be bothered

Have your say

Since the end of June, there have been items of waste left at the junction of Malten Lane and Middlegate in Whaplode.

A sticker has been placed on the items by, I assume, binmen, which gives a list of reasons why they would not have been taken.

However, none of the boxes that provide an explanation as to why they have not been taken have been ticked.

For whatever reason they were left, surely this is now a fly-tipping issue, which our wonderful council has a responsibility to remove.

How can residents be expected to take pride in their community when the council can’t even be bothered to remove case of fly-tipping.
