Romance was in the air at a monthly tea dance on Sunday when sweethearts enjoyed Love Hearts and cup cakes as part of their St Valentine’s celebrations.
More than 60 people attended the dance at Swineshead Village Hall.
Organiser and keyboard player Rachael Nichols has been putting on Sunday afternoon tea dances for a couple of years and the next dance will also have a special theme as it falls on Mothering Sunday, March 10.
Rachael plays a wide range of popular dance music, dating from the 1920s to the present day, and her regulars – aged from their forties onwards – enjoy twirling around the dance floor.
She has played keyboard at the hall on Saturday nights for about 18 years and launched her own Sunday afternoon tea dances a couple of years ago.
Once a year Rachael and her regulars raise funds for a charity.
