Residents are being warned of road closures and noise when the drainage board starts work in Spalding on Friday.
Work will start at Wygate Park close to the junction of Avignon Road at 4pm with a planned finishing time of 7pm on March 1.
The work is the third phase to install a structural lining to the main surface water sewer that runs under Wygate Park.
Wygate Park is to be closed at the junction with Pennygate with local access only to Avignon Road from the west.
Local access to Shire Avenue/Westerly Way, Wedgewood Drive and Law Court will be through the road closure at Woolram Wygate and then controlled locally with four-way traffic lights.
Avignon Road will remain open for local access only, with other traffic diverted along Woolram Wygate and Pennygate.
There should be little or no sewer smell but there will be noise from works, water pumps and a boiler.
