History came to life with a series of special events across the district over the weekend.
Heritage Open Days saw events hosted in Algarkirk, Bourne, Holbeach, Lutton, Pinchbeck, Pode Hole, three in Long Sutton and four in Spalding.
At St Peter and St Paul Church in Algarkirk there was an afternoon of medieval music and crafts on Sunday, and children could also enjoy various activities.
In Lutton there was tea and fun with the Tudors at the village’s St Nicholas Church.
While in Holbeach, the cold war bunker was open for four hours on Sunday.
