Local clergy have helped to celebrate a major refurbishment of a Deeping St James funeral home. The RJ Scholes branch at Horsegate has undergone a total revamp which took 12 week – and its new look was marked with a re-dedication service led by representatives from three churches. Rev Philip Brent, rector of St Guthlac’s, Market Deeping; Father Clement Orang’o, from Our Lady of Lincoln and St Guthlac Roman Catholic Church at Deeping St James and Deepings Methodist Church minister Rev Ann Bossingham were all involved in the re-dedication. Members of local churches and parish councils also attended and Mr Harry Whitelock, chairman of the board of Anglia Co-operative, officially unveiled a plaque as part of the launch of the impressive refurbishment.
