Five incidents have been recorded at Saturday Bridge over the last five years.

Holbeach Parish Council has been calling for improvements to Saturday Bridge due to speeding traffic.

A statement says: “The council has expressed its concern to LCC Highways regarding signage and speeding at Saturday Bridge. We have been informed that the signage repairs are “in hand”.

“We will of course continue to monitor the situation and will be pressing again for the speed issue to be looked at.

“Our members send their best wishes to the people involved in the accident and hope that they are ok.”
