Holbeach sink hole: Boston Road remains closed as Anglian Water start work to repair sewer
Investigations are continuing on what caused a busy Holbeach road to collapse earlier this week.
Boston Road South has been closed since Sunday evening when a large sink hole appeared in the road.
Residents have been complaining about the sinking section of road for sometime and the road was closed in April last year for a similar reason.

An Anglian Water spokesperson said, “We are continuing to work with Highways to assess the cause of the road collapse on Boston Road South in Holbeach. We are preparing to start work to repair our sewer which has been damaged to ensure that we can maintain facilities to our customers in the area.
"The road will remain closed while we continue to carry out our investigations with Highways and a diversion is in place.
“We would like to apologise for any inconvenience this is causing and hope to have this rectified as quickly as possible.”
