Repair work to fix flooding on car park of Sainsbury's store in Spalding

Shoppers and staff at Sainsbury's superstore in Spalding are having to cope with an unexpected case of flooding.

An area of car parking outside the main entrance to the store in Holland Market is under several inches of water.

Engineers are working on site to clear the water but, until then, a number of car parking spaces have been cordoned off.

"We are working hard to resolve the issue and Sainsbury's apologises to our customers for any inconvenience caused."
